Canaan Craig

Canaan is from Hoxie, Arkansas, and the daughter of a pastor. She is a junior at the University of Central Arkansas where she is studying Spanish Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. She has had the privilege to intern under the Missions and Outreach Department of the church she is a part of while at college. Canaan came to know Jesus as a child and it is her desire to dedicate her life to spreading His Gospel and serving and loving others.

Canaan will be serving as an intern this summer as part of the Church Planting Survey Team in Ayacucho, Peru. The team will assist the new church plant in the city by engaging with the local community, which has a large university population, to learn of needs and build bridges for ministry. She hopes that this experience with SAM will open up doors for future missionary service.
