Art & Genda Freeman

Art and Genda Freeman are appointed as missionaries to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. They are currently raising support to begin their ministry there. They have had vast intercultural experience through Art’s job as an ESL teacher and many opportunities to make disciples in their home state of Wisconsin. They married in 1997 and have a son, Noah. They enjoy nature, reading, and music.

The Freemans will engage in discipleship through various avenues while in Santa Cruz, ranging from university to medical/nutritional ministry all through the local church context. They have a heart to see people come to know Jesus and experience the abundant life found in Him.


Ministry: Indigenous Rural Outreach

Formerly called the Ayoré Holistic Ministry, this team is expanding their reach to include other indigenous and rural people along with the Ayoré. The IRO (Indigenous Rural Outreach) Team is committed to serving individuals and communities as a means of building relationships and following the example of Christ.

CIET, the Center for Integral Theological Education [Centro Integral de Estudios Teológicos] in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, exists to provide quality, biblical training for pastors and lay-leaders of the church in eastern Bolivia in order to see them well grounded in love, ministry, and doctrine.
