Kaylee took her first mission trip to Mexico when she was 11 years old and soon felt called into full-time missions. She graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a double minor in Children’s Ministry and Global Missions. Kaylee is passionate about children’s ministry and church planting. She served as a 2015 SAM intern in Bolivia, then joined SAM for long-term service. She first served in Colombia before transitioning to Peru.

Nilton Solier grew up in Huanta, Peru. He came to know Christ at the age of 19. A few years later, he began to participate in short-term mission trips with his church in different areas of Peru. He later started serving with SAM missionaries in Ayacucho doing church planting and university ministry. Nilton has a passion for reaching university students and sharing the Gospel.

Nilton and Kaylee met when Kaylee arrived in Ayacucho in 2017. After a few years of friendship and doing ministry together, they got married in November 2020. Soon after, they were sent as SAM missionaries to Guatemala to receive training and serve the church in Guatemala City. They are involved in church planting, children’s ministry, and reaching vulnerable populations with the Gospel.
