Matthias & Rosemary Drochner

Matthias and Rosemary Drochner are missionaries in Lima, Peru. They served in Pucallpa, Peru, for almost two decades in church leadership development before moving to Lima to begin ministry there. Their passion for leaders to not only have intellectual but whole person training drives them to invest in the theological institutions that are training the next generation of pastors and leaders for the Church.


Ministry: Peru Field, GO Fund

Each of South America Mission’s countries of service incurs costs associated with managing and facilitating ministry and caring for missionaries (e.g. compliance with local government regulations, operating a field office, stewarding field finances, etc.) Resources allocated in support of the general operations of the Peru field directly support the infrastructure essential to ministry.

Ministry: Peru Church Planting

In 2006, SAM missionaries planted Iglesia Mil Palmeras, in Pucallpa, Peru, also known as Thousand Palms Church. Today, Mil Palmeras is transforming its community by embodying the Kingdom of God. With close to 300 congregants, they are actively engaging the city of Pucallpa and beyond into the Amazon to plant new, transformational churches that impact the world for Christ.
