Opportunity: Worship Ministry

At the heart of our vision to see the communities of Latin America transformed by the gospel is the call for us to be redeemed disciples of Jesus. The intentional cultivation of prayer and worship is vital to the spiritual lives of our missionaries and the spiritual climate of our ministries. Across our fields, there is a continual need for worship ministry in a variety of capacities and lengths of service.

Short-term Conferences (1 week)

Each of our ministry fields hosts an annual “Field Conference” where our missionaries gather to pray, reflect, worship, and cast vision for future ministry. These conferences typically last one week and we regularly seek volunteers willing to serve in the capacities of worship, teaching, and children’s care. If you have an interest in volunteering to serve our missionaries in this capacity, contact us today: Preliminary Information Form

Worship Internships (3-6 months)
If you’re gifted with musical talent and have experience in the work of cultivating a culture of worship, we encourage you to join us for a 3-6 month internship in worship ministry. In most of our ministry contexts, this would involve leading worship at weekly missionary gatherings and partnering with some of our local ministries to help guide them in worship practices. Worship Leader Positions (1-2 years)

Skilled worship leaders with a heart for investing in the spiritual lives of others through worship are key ministry partners. We see the benefit of having strong worship-filled communities in our ministry contexts.

In Colombia, a worship leader would partner with the Fundación Comunidad Viva, helping to cultivate a vibrant worship culture within their house church movement. In Bolivia, a worship leader would minister to our missionary community and engage in various ministries. In Peru, a worship leader would serve with the church plant in Lima or Ayacucho, or they could reside in Pucallpa on the edge of the jungle. A worship leader in Brazil would help at the Ami Center, ministering to missionaries and indigenous pastors.
