Pray for: Colombia

Jake and Lauren Jones are missionaries serving with SAM in Bogotá, Colombia. The Jones started a non-profit organization in 2017 called Fundación Wájaro (www.wajaro.org). The mission of the organization is to build the indigenous church and support vulnerable communities throughout Colombia. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as Wájaro seeks to reach more communities for Christ among the Wayuu in the desert region of northern Colombia, and as it partners with the Pro-Indigenous Consortium of Colombia to widen its scope. The Consortium comprises Christian churches, national and international missionary agencies, and non-governmental organizations that support a network of Christian indigenous leaders from different regions around Colombia.
