Brown, Mike & Marcy

God called Mike and Marcy to a life of ministry in the jungle city of Pucallpa, Peru. Along with their two children, the Browns are a family of 4 devoted to serving 1–the God who loves us and sent His son to die for us.

Mike and Marcy use their gifts as teachers to serve the missionary families of the area. They teach at SAM Academy, a school tailored to meet the needs of Third Culture Kids of missionary families. Their work frees missionary parents to fully serve in ministries such as aviation ministry, Bible translation, church planting, and theological education. Parents know that their children are receiving a well-rounded education, spiritual discipleship, and preparation for higher education in their passport country.

Mike and Marcy seek to bring about redeemed lives, beautiful churches, and transformed communities, both through their support of the ministries in this region, and the discipleship of the amazing children in their care. They desire to teach and influence both academically and spiritually.

Mike is the current Director of SAM Academy. Along with directing, he teaches a variety of math and science classes at the high school and middle school level. Marcy teaches in elementary while their daughter and son attend the school.
