Ortiz, Dalmiro & Laura

Dalmiro and Laura are missionaries in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Dalmiro grew up in the small town of Agua Blanca in the southern region of Bolivia. He moved to Santa Cruz to further his education after high school. The Lord drew Dalmiro to Himself during his time in Santa Cruz.

The Lord instilled within Laura a passion for missions during high school. After teaching in the US for a few years, the Lord called her to South America to use her gifts in education at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center. They met during this time and married in 2011.

Dalmiro and Laura have three children, Benji, Laurita, and Rebeca. Dalmiro and Laura focus ministry on church planting, discipleship, and accountability by meeting regularly with pastors and church leaders in Santa Cruz as well as in the rural areas of Bolivia. They have a passion to see these leaders deepen their walks with the Lord and in so doing strengthen their relationships and impact within their families, their congregations, and the communities where they serve.

In addition, now that all three of their children have reached school age, Laura returned to full-time ministry at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center in August 2023. She is grateful for the ways God is using her in the role of elementary principal to reach students and families for Christ and to see how God may use these families to transform Bolivia.
