Simmons, Dave & Marilyn

Dave and Marilyn have served together in Pucallpa, Peru, since 1978.

For over three decades, Dave served as a missionary aviator with SAMAIR before becoming Field Director for ten years. He now serves as the Peru Field Administrator, overseeing legal matters for SAM Peru.

Marilyn volunteers at Latidos de Esperanza (Heartbeats of Hope), a crisis pregnancy center. The center reaches women facing unplanned pregnancies, offering balanced information about their choices, affirming the value and sanctity of life, promoting purity and abstinence among youth and single adults, and offering post-abortive counseling. Marilyn also serves as a member care facilitator for missionaries for the Pucallpa area.

Dave and Marilyn both serve as counselors for the Mil Palmeras Church in Pucallpa, ministering mostly in the area of marriage counseling.

Their grown children are Matt, Stephanie, and Michael. Their daughter Stephanie and her husband Todd serve with SAMAIR in Peru.
