Zajicek, Frank & Luz

Frank and Luz, now retired and living in Cartagena, Colombia, have spent decades faithfully serving as missionaries with South America Mission. Their journey together began when they met while Frank was serving as a single missionary in Colombia, and their shared passion for ministry has shaped their lives ever since.

The Zajiceks first served in San Ignacio, Bolivia, focusing on church planting and discipleship, before returning to Colombia to minister in Luz’s home country. Their compassionate hearts and humble spirits deeply impacted the youth and families of Gaira, a community near Santa Marta, where they introduced OANSA, an Awana-like program that transformed entire families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They also opened their home for regular community Bible studies.

Frank and Luz’s legacy of ministry continues through the lives they’ve touched among the Wayuu and in the church community of Gaira.
