Ellen serves as SAM’s Onboarding Manager in the home office in Fort Mill, SC. After seeing the great need for cross-cultural training on the mission field, she earned her bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology. Upon graduation, she went on to earn her Master of Divinity in Missiology. She then worked vocationally in the college ministry of her church doing missions mobilization, discipleship, and outreach.

In April 2020, Ellen moved to be a part of the core church planting team of Citizens Church in Charlotte, where she writes liturgy and serves in the children’s ministry. When she is not working, you can find her swimming, gardening, and making landscape paintings.
