Antivero, Tony & Meli

Tony and Meli grew up along the border of Brazil and Uruguay, where they discovered their faith and became believers through the work of American missionaries. Their journeys as new Christians in this remote region of northern Uruguay and southern Brazil sparked a deep passion for ministry.

After their marriage in 1993, Tony and Meli responded to God’s call to serve in various countries across Latin America, including Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Chile. There, they dedicated themselves to teaching, mentoring, and supporting local churches. Following the events of September 11, 2001, they responded to God’s calling to the United States. For over 22 years, they have faithfully served growing and diverse Latino communities, planting churches and nurturing leaders in South Carolina, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Wisconsin

After over two decades of fruitful ministry in the U.S., Tony and Meli now feel God calling them back to their roots. Through South America Mission, they plan to return to the Brazil-Uruguay border, this time to minister to the neglected senior population. Their mission is to share hope and the Gospel with older adults, empowering them to disciple and inspire younger generations.
