Bill and Joy Carrera are JAARS/Wycliffe missionaries on loan to SAM Peru since August 2013. Previously they worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Brazil for 15 years where their three children were born: William, Cullen, and Camilla.
Bill serves as the principal at SAM Academy in Pucallpa. Plus, he is a junior and senior high school math teacher. He also enjoys teaching geography and history.
Joy is a pilot, mechanic, and flight coordinator for SAMAIR Peru. She graduated from Moody Aviation in 1995 and has more than 3000 flight hours.
