Serina Klotz was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and was blessed to come to know the Lord at the age of seven. She left for her first mission trip when she was fourteen years old, and little did she know that God would plant a passion in her heart for sharing the Gospel with children throughout the world. After several short-term trips in high school, the Lord led her to Moody Bible Institute (class of 2014) to study Intercultural and Children’s Ministry. Serina interned in Colombia during her time as a college student and then returned after graduation to serve there for two years.

Looking to the future, the Lord led her to South America Mission where she caught SAM’s vision for creating dynamic churches and desired to be part of SAM’s loving community. She is excited to use all she has learned to help grow children’s ministries so that children can come to know Christ at a young age and live their whole lives for Him. Her greatest joy has been seeing children learn what it means to follow Jesus and watch them share the Gospel with those around them. After serving with SAM first in Bolivia, Serina continues her ministry today based in Medellin, Colombia.
