Layne, Kevin and Emily

From: $10 – subscription plan available

Kevin and Emily’s strong connection with South America Mission spans many years. Their time includes taking short-term trips to Brazil and serving SAM’s missionary kids at the Centennial Celebration in Panama. They desired to go and serve in full-time, cross-cultural ministry when the timing was right for their family. That happened in February 2020 when they were appointed as member missionaries with SAM. The Laynes join the Recife Redemptive Ministries team, using their gifts and desire to work with youth and adults in an under-resourced area. They also become part of the ongoing efforts alongside the local church to reach the communities there for Christ.

Kevin and Emily’s background covers youth and student ministries, administration, and teaching/coaching, all in the context of the local church. They serve best as a husband and wife team. Kevin and Emily head to Brazil soon with their two daughters and son who is adopted from Bulgaria.
