Wes and Trudy originally joined the South America Indian Mission (SAIM) in 1970. Trudy’s parents were members of the Inland South America Missionary Union (ISAMU). SAIM and ISAMU were the earlier 20th century names for SAM. Suffice it to say, the Sengs are carrying on a rich legacy of Great Commission work to the indigenous peoples of South America.

Wes and Trudy helped found the Ammi Training Center in Chapada, Brazil, and today they live and work in Iranduba where they remain committed to the leadership of the Brazilian indigenous church through the Semiraita Training Center.
