Mark Powers serves on SAM’s Senior Leadership Team as the Finance Director. Originally from Greenville, SC, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clemson University, thus, he bleeds orange. After graduating, he moved to Charlotte and worked at the Coca Cola Bottling Company Consolidated for 28 years serving in a variety of roles. He brings much accounting, operations, and planning experience to SAM where he is helping lead the way to increased organizational excellence.
Mark has been heavily involved in his local church’s youth ministry for many years and has a desire to fulfill his role well in order to help the church grow in depth and number.
