SAM Academy

Desde: $25 – subscription plan available

SAM Academy began in the jungle region of Pucallpa, Peru in 1966. South America Mission (SAM) responded to a need for education tailored to the needs of Third Culture Kids of missionary families. The school seeks to free missionary parents for service by providing their children with a well-rounded education, spiritual discipleship, and preparation for higher education in their passport country.

SAM Academy’s vision is to see students first and foremost grounded in the Word of God. To achieve this, the school’s staff and volunteers equip students with Biblical principles and learning tools to develop spiritual, academic, and social wholeness. Additionally, SAM Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The school uses a US-based curriculum while ensuring that students learn the language and cultural skills needed for living in their host country.

Currently, SAM Academy offers 1st through 12th grade. The school hosts a variety of challenging classes to keep students on target with their education objectives. The heart of the school, however, is seeing students grow in their relationship with their Savior. We want students to build a solid spiritual base for their faith. We encourage students’ involvement in their parents’ ministries, as well as their engagement with school-organized community outreach opportunities.

SAM Academy is honored to support missionary families in seeing the Church of Jesus Christ multiplied and transforming communities by embodying the Kingdom of God.
