Hardy, Stephanie

Stephanie serves in the South America Mission US Office as the Communications Manager. Born and raised in the Carolinas, she loves the south; but also loves to travel the world. Although her paternal grandfather graduated from Duke University and her father from NC State University, she holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following graduation, she worked at one of the southeast’s largest daily newspapers for 18 years in a variety of roles throughout the advertising division.

After years in the corporate world, God opened the door to one of her lifelong dreams and calling. Stephanie always wanted to serve as an overseas missionary. She soon found herself in England and then Germany working with military families stationed on US Air Force bases. The mission was all about introducing them to the life-giver, Jesus Christ. Her experience also extends into working for several Christian non-profits as well as leading many international outreaches and projects.

In partnership through Therefore Alliance, Stephanie also spends half her time serving SEND International. This Kingdom collaboration across mission organizations allows us to work alongside each other for God’s Glory and the Good of the World.

Stephanie enjoys using her gifts and skills to serve others. She wants to communicate with and for missionaries as the Gospel is shared across the globe. Her heart’s desire and 5-10-20-30+ year goal is to love God and love others.
