Now retired, Jim and Renee gave 55 years to missionary service in Peru. Their love for God and love for the souls of men has been unwavering through their ministry to the Shipibo people group of the eastern Peruvian Amazon and men struggling with addiction in the urban environment of Pucallpa.

Each of South America Mission’s countries of service incurs costs associated with managing and facilitating ministry and caring for missionaries (e.g. compliance with local government regulations, operating a field office, stewarding field finances, etc.) Resources allocated in support of the general operations of the Peru field directly support the infrastructure essential to ministry.

In 1992, the Centro de Capacitación Bíblica (CCB) opened its doors for the first time and it has grown from a class size of six to an average of 50 students.
