We are passionate about education as it directly leads to transformation. The classroom is a beautiful place of discovery, challenge, and growth. Bolivia: International prek-12 Christian School

The Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center (SCCLC) is home to over 200 students. Located in Bolivia’s eastern state, Santa Cruz, the SCCLC provides private Christian English education for a wide variety of students. Most students at the SCCLC are from Bolivia, but many also are missionary kids or international kids whose parents moved to Bolivia for business. The average class size is 15-20 students and the curriculum is structured to allow each teacher to mentor their class with scripture and truth. The SCCLC is accredited by ACSI and Middle States Association.

Peru: International 1st-12th grade Missionary Kid School

SAM Academy is a vibrant and small private school for the children of missionaries, tucked into the jungle region of Peru. The academy is home to around 30 students who represent several international missions agencies. With smaller class sizes of 4-8 students, teachers at SAM Academy develop strong and meaningful relationships with their students and families. SAM Academy is accredited by ACSI and prepares international students for higher English education abroad.

Colombia: Private Christian School

Colegio La Esperanza (Hope Christian School) serves the community of Santa Marta, Colombia through education. La Esperanza holds top academic ranking in its state and actively seeks to be a viable education option for local families. Formed out of partnership between Iglésia La Esperanza and South America Mission, the school continues to impact its community and help bring transformation to Colombia’s northern coast. La Esperanza is a Colombian school which operates in Spanish and on a Colombian academic calendar.

Colombia: Home-schooling

In Bogota, our missionary team is in need of a qualified person to provide homeschooling services. Two of our missionary families in Bogota are looking for a missionary to join them in ministry by caring for their children and providing quality education. Additionally, this ministry comes alongside their children’s ministry within the local communities.

Tutoring and short-term teaching

If you’re more passionate about one-on-one teaching, or if you want to serve for a shorter period of time (3-9 months), become a tutor! We have missionaries in fairly remote areas of South America who don’t have easy access to schools for their children. The gift of education and mentorship to a missionary kid is an exponential blessing for them and their parents.
