John Lucas is a missionary with South America Mission serving in Pucallpa, Peru as the field administrator. John is currently in the U.S. caring for his mother who is ill. Please pray that God would bless their time together and that they will have beautiful fellowship. Pray also that the responsibilities of his role on the Peru field are adequately covered during John’s time in the US.

Frank and Luz Zajicek are missionaries with South America Mission in Santa Marta, Colombia. They recently completed a home ministry assignment in the states. Please pray that they return to the field refreshed and that their time with their supporters will be financially beneficial for their ministry, which focuses on youth and families of Gaira, a community outside of Santa Marta.

Jaime and Heather Azuaje are missionaries with South America Mission (SAM). They will begin serving with SAM’s Ayacucho Initiative church-planting team in Ayacucho, Peru beginning in January. Please pray for their transition to the Peru field, for cohesiveness among the team members, and for God’s wisdom and guidance in their ministry.

Katie Beth Wilcke is a missionary with South America Mission serving in the city of Santa Cruz, teaching at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center, the same international Christian school that she attended as a missionary kid growing up. Katie Beth is currently on home ministry assignment (HMA), based in Maryland and Pennsylvania. She travels this month to Bolivia briefly to be with her family before returning to complete her HMA. Please pray that this would be a refreshing time for her as she meets with her network of supporters and that God would continue to provide the resources necessary for her return to ministry.

Jeff and Beth HAuse are missionaries with South America Mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The HAuses are currently on home ministry assignment (HMA). Due to Beth’s health, they are in Oregon, where she is receiving medical care as her debilitating symptoms and pain have resurfaced. Pray for the HAuses as they hope to travel across the US to see family and supporters this year. Please pray for Beth and for her doctors as they attempt to resolve her pain and symptoms.

David and Rachael Powell are missionaries serving with South America Mission in Pucallpa, Peru. Please pray for the Powells as they prepare for home ministry assignment (HMA) beginning in December 2017. Pray that God would oversee the details as they exit their ministry with Encuentro Cristiano Mil Palmeras, teach their last class of Academia Biblica and prepare those who will be entrusted with the ministry. Please pray for God’s wisdom and guidance as they make preparations and move to Mazamari for the next phase of ministry when they return to Peru after their HMA.

Larry and Bonnie Secrest are missionaries with South America Mission in Lima, Peru. Please pray for them as they prepare for their home ministry assignment (HMA) in December 2017.
