As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. One of these goals is to train godly leaders. The Proven Leader Partnership (PLP) program is a way for local churches to invest in leaders who have faithfully served with SAM and contributed to ministry over the years. These leaders, apart from this program, would be unable to acquire further training for future ministry. Please pray for thirty cumulative PLP beneficiaries to be thriving in ministry.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over the years, we praise God for the work He has been doing in us as we’ve been undergoing the SAM 2020 renewal process, reflecting and retooling for the next century of ministry. Praise God for His faithful leading of and work in us as a community.

One of these goals is to have thirty churches adopt church-based theological training. Ask God to raise up beautiful churches that disciple, equip, and train their members for ministry.

Please pray that SAM will continue to grow in diversity by adding non-North American missionaries, so that we might grow in more effectively reaching and discipling South Americans.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over the years, we praise God for founding Jungle Air Aviation, now SAMAIR, in Peru in 1962. Praise God for the many who have served in mission aviation since then in Bolivia and Peru and for the many lives that have been impacted through this ministry.

Please pray that we will be a people filled with the Spirit, marked by the presence of God in our lives, to whom people say, “Let us go with you, for we have heard God is with you.”

One hundred years ago today, Joseph and Mabel Davis, their children, and Mrs. W. E. Whitmore set sail for South America. Praise God for their resolve to God’s calling on their lives to reach those in the interior of South America with the Gospel. One hundred years later we see a continent that has been impacted by the Gospel and is white for harvest.
