As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. Please pray for wisdom and God’s leading as SAM seeks to open one new field of service.

The early Church Father, Tertullian, wrote, “The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church.” In 1930, SAM missionary, Arthur Tylee and his little daughter, three Brazilian partners, and nurse Mildred Kratz were brutally murdered by the very people they loved and were trying to reach. Though we grieve the loss of beloved brothers and sisters, we rejoice in our Sovereign God who is not bound by anything and advances His Kingdom through tragedy. Praise God for the advancement of the Gospel among South America through these saints’ lives.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. Please pray for God’s leading as we target two cities to intentionally labor in to see the Gospel renew all aspects of society.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over the years, we praise God for opening the door for SAM to begin laboring in Peru in 1926. Praise God for the Gospel’s transforming effect among the Campa and Shipibo peoples.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. Pray for God’s leading as SAM seeks to initiate three ministries to peoples with limited Gospel response.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over the years, we praise God for opening the door for SAM to begin laboring in Bolivia in 1922. Praise God for the penetrating and transforming power of the Gospel among the Ayoré people.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. The harvest is still plentiful and the work continues to abound. Please pray for the Lord to raise up and send out more laborers into the harvest field through SAM.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we praise God for first opening the door to begin laboring in Brazil 100 years ago. Praise God for the effect and progress of the Gospel, specifically among the Terena people, and how He is using them to reach other people groups with the Gospel.

As SAM celebrates its centennial and rejoices in God’s grace and faithfulness over these years, we also labor towards the vision and goals He has called us to for the future. One of those goals is to help establish five model churches in church-based discipleship and leader training and benefiting the surrounding community. Please pray for SAM as we seek to establish these churches by God’s grace by 2017.

Praise God for the many years of fruitful ministry He has allowed SAM to be a part of during this time, seeing lives redeemed and communities transformed by the Gospel.
