Bill and Joy Carrera

Give thanks with us for Bill and Joy Carrera, JAARS/Wycliffe missionaries who have been “on loan” to SAM Peru since 2013. For over a decade, they’ve faithfully served in Pucallpa—Bill as principal and teacher at SAM Academy, and Joy as a SAMAIR pilot, mechanic, and coordinator—blessing countless lives through their dedication.

In just a couple of months, they will transition back to the U.S. for Home Ministry Assignment before beginning a new season of service with Moody Aviation in Spokane. Please pray for their final weeks in Peru, that they would finish well, and for God’s guidance as they step into this next chapter.

Continue to lift up Joy’s health, asking God to sustain her with strength for the journey ahead. Pray that the Carreras would experience peace, joy, and clear direction as they move forward. SAM Peru will miss them!
