“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” John 1:14
This Christmas season, we pause to give thanks for the gift of Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Across Latin America, churches and communities are celebrating Christ’s birth through worship, family gatherings, and joyful traditions that proclaim the hope of the Gospel.
At the same time, many missionaries and international workers are celebrating Christmas far from their home countries, families, and familiar traditions. While this season brings meaningful ministry opportunities, it can also carry moments of longing and homesickness.
Please pray that the nearness of Christ would be deeply felt this Christmas, for churches across Latin America, for families and communities celebrating together, and for missionaries serving faithfully away from home. Ask God to fill hearts with peace, joy, and renewed hope as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
First of all, pray, and give thanks, for Jesus, the Light of the world.
