The Ministry of Communication has consistently given the Wayuu Radio station resistance and refuses to renew their license to function, claiming they are not a community station. The last two years the station has functioned without a license. Today they will be officially “off air” and Ricautre and Jandy will travel to Bogota to appeal their case. Pray that the Lord will soften hearts within the Ministry of Communication so that their case will receive a fair chance.
