Joel Woodard serves with South America Mission

We’re thankful to welcome Joel Woodard as SAM’s Mobilization and Development Director. Joel’s journey in missions began early, shaped by his family’s missionary heritage and a deep surrender to God’s call. He and his wife, Amy, served in youth ministry and church planting in Slovenia for seven years, and Joel pastored for 15 years in Oregon.

Pray for Joel as he steps into this new role, drawing on his pastoral leadership and cross-cultural experience to help advance Gospel work across South America. Ask God to bless Joel and his family as they serve with passion and joy to strengthen Gospel ecosystems for God’s glory.
