Joy Carrera and Future Missionary Pilots

October 24th, 2025

Recently, the SAMAIR Peru team gathered to honor Joy Carrera as she completed her final flight in Peru—a moment filled with gratitude and praise to God.

We celebrate and give thanks for Joy, who faithfully served with SAMAIR Peru for 12 years alongside her husband, Bill, who served at SAM Academy. Joy and Bill are now heading to Moody Aviation, where Joy will train future mission aviators—hopefully inspiring more women to join the field!

Please pray for Joy and Bill as they settle back in the U.S., and ask God to raise up the next generation of pilots and mechanics who will carry the hope of the Gospel to remote places across South America and beyond.
