This week, we invite you to pray for Phil Hostetter, a SAM Board Member with a deep passion for mobilizing the next generation of missionaries.
Phil will be spending the next several days at Lancaster Bible College, visiting classes, participating in a panel discussion, and engaging students at a booth. These opportunities grew out of conversations about how SAM can connect with colleges and universities, and Phil generously stepped in to help build those relationships.
Having grown up on the mission field himself, Phil brings a unique perspective that resonates with students who are discerning God’s call. His background in education and counseling also gives him a thoughtful, pastoral presence as he listens, encourages, and helps students think through questions of calling, vocation, and global mission.
Please pray for meaningful conversations, open hearts, and lasting fruit in the lives of the students Phil will meet. Pray that God would use these interactions to clarify calling, spark obedience, and raise up workers for His harvest.
