Urbana and The Journey of Calling

December 26th, 2025

We invite you to pray for Urbana, one of the largest Christian student missions conferences in the world, sponsored by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Thousands of students will gather December 28-31 to explore God’s heart for the nations, wrestle with global challenges, and discern what faithful, missional living looks like in their own lives.

South America Mission will be present at Urbana, engaging students at our booth themed “The Journey of Calling.” Many students arrive with questions: What is God calling me to? Where do my gifts fit? How might He be leading me to serve? We are grateful for the opportunity to listen, encourage, and walk alongside the next generation as they take meaningful steps in discerning God’s direction.

Please pray:

For students attending Urbana–that God would meet them personally, clarify His call, and give them courage to respond in obedience.
For SAM staff and volunteers serving at our booth–that conversations would be marked by wisdom, grace, and attentiveness to the Spirit.
That seeds planted during Urbana would bear lasting fruit, leading to lives committed to Christ and His mission in the world.
