Welcome Larry Ashworth

We’re grateful to welcome Larry Ashworth to the South America Mission U.S. office! Larry joined SAM in January 2026 as our Accounting Bookkeeper, bringing both professional expertise and a heart for serving God’s Kingdom.

Before coming to SAM, he enjoyed a career in supply chain management while serving faithfully in his local church as a Finance Committee Chair, Treasurer, teacher, and deacon. He later completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Ministries from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, further equipping him for service.

At SAM, Larry combines his financial skills with his desire to support Gospel work, helping steward resources well so ministry can flourish across Latin America.

Please pray for Larry as he settles into his role. Ask God to give him wisdom, clarity, and joy in his work, and to use his gifts to strengthen SAM’s mission. Pray also for his wife, Kristi, and their family as they continue to serve the Lord together.

We give thanks for God’s provision in bringing Larry to our team and for the ways He is already at work through him.
