For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand so that we should walk in them. — Ephesians 2:10

Iglesia Nueva Esperanza and Fundacion Manos de Esperanza work together as the hands and feet of Jesus in Los Quindos, a neighborhood in the city of Armenia and the surrounding area. They infuse the hope of Christ through spiritual, emotional, and physical/tangible means.

Their mission is clear: to guide the most vulnerable towards faith, hope, love, and a dignified life with purpose. The church lives out the mission by offering children and youth programs, Bible studies for all ages, leadership training, teaching, working, and practical skills. Simultaneously, the foundation establishes micro-enterprises and a community development center.

Iglesia Nueva Esperanza and Fundacion Manos de Esperanza serve in a community with many limitations, where few desire to go. In a backdrop of fractured family structures and financial/spiritual challenges, hope for the future is dwindling for the emerging generation. It is a community where most families grew up without Christ in their lives. Before Iglesia Nueva Esperanza, there was no local church.

Therefore, Iglesia Nueva Esperanza and Fundacion Manos de Esperanza are dedicated to seeing the hope of Jesus Christ transform the individuals, families, and communities of Armenia, especially among the most vulnerable.
