Dave and Gwen Broucek, who retired in 2019, have a rich history of leadership and service. Dave previously served as SAM’s International Ministries Director, where he passionately focused on developing Christ-like leaders and shepherding SAM’s country directors. He also served as the Country Director for SAM Colombia.
Before their time with SAM, Dave and Gwen served with TEAM, both in organizational leadership and on the field in Trinidad and Tobago. Now in retirement, they enjoy spending time with their three grown children and grandchildren, reading, and kayaking on lakes in South Carolina and Michigan.

South America Mission’s countries of service incur costs associated with catalyzing and managing ministry initiatives. We also invest resources in the infrastructure and services necessary to shepherd a vision-driven missionary community (e.g., compliance with local government regulations, operating a field office, stewarding field finances, pastoral care, etc.).
