Matthias and Rosemary began serving as missionaries in Peru in 1997. For 16 years they lived in the jungle town of Pucallpa, where their three kids grew up. Matthias led the INTEP Bible Institute and developed a contextualized curriculum with a team of Peruvian teachers. Today, the INTEP institute in Pucallpa continues to go strong under Peruvian leadership.

Rosemary served in multiple roles, teaching and leading children and youth at church, teaching classes at SAM Academy, and using her nurse training to help the sick.

In 2015 they moved to Lima. Rosemary serves at an evangelistic school as the school nurse and as director of member care for a large staff of expats and Peruvians. Matthias has been training pastors at a Christian University and various seminaries. He also trains seminary teachers in advanced teaching methods and assists seminary leaders in curriculum development.

Matthias and Rosemary both serve in leadership at City Church and have been involved in this church planting effort since the beginning.
