Thomas, Kyle & Cristina

Desde: $25 – subscription plan available

Kyle and Cristina Thomas have a rich heritage of families who have made Christ known around the world. Kyle’s grandparents and parents served with the Capernwray Missionary Fellowship of Torchbearers to establish Bible schools and conference centers around the globe. Since the late 1930s, Cristina’s grandparents and parents were missionaries in Peru, sharing Christ’s life and love through church planting and discipleship.

In 2025, Kyle and Cristina will celebrate 20 years of serving the Lord as a couple in Peru. Their eldest son, Elijah is currently studying mechanical engineering at LeTourneau University. Their two daughters, Abigail and Anna Sofia, study at SAM Academy in Pucallpa.

As the Peru Field Director, Kyle uses his gifts in administration to strategically evaluate and plan long-term goals for SAM ministries all across Peru. He works closely with fellow leaders and teammates to support the needs of diverse ministries. Kyle also enjoys teaching regularly at their local church, where he and Cristina have developed deep and meaningful relationships.

Cristina’s gift of hospitality allows her to serve as Personnel Director for Peru. She facilitates short-term teams, mentors new missionaries, and provides care and encouragement to long-term missionaries. She also joins a team of teachers at SAM Academy who teach and mentor missionary children.

Each of South America Mission’s countries of service incurs costs associated with managing and facilitating ministry and caring for missionaries (e.g. compliance with local government regulations, operating a field office, stewarding field finances, etc.) Resources allocated in support of the general operations of the Peru field directly support the infrastructure essential to ministry.
