Founded in 2019 by Larry and Bonnie Secrest, VASE (Voluntarios en Ayuda Social y Evangelismo or Volunteers in Social Help and Evangelism) is a Peruvian Christian non-profit that aims to meet the physical and spiritual needs of vulnerable communities. By organizing medical outreaches in remote and underserved areas, VASE brings healing, hope, and the love of Christ to the people of Peru.

Our volunteer teams include doctors, dentists, nurses, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and volunteers—who partner with local churches to provide vital medical services and share the Gospel. Through these efforts, VASE seeks to strengthen and establish churches as lights in their communities, echoing the call of Matthew 5:13-16 to be the salt and light of the earth.

VASE facilitates U.S. and Peruvian medical teams, coordinating outreach trips to coastal, mountainous, and jungle regions of Peru. These trips enable both international and local volunteers to extend God’s mercy and grace to those in need, while supporting the work of churches in these regions.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to serve the physical and spiritual needs of those in rural and impoverished areas, to advance the Gospel, and to glorify God through acts of love and compassion.
