After graduating from the Ami Training Center in 1999, Meiry Yakawa returned to continue investing in the ministry that had shaped her own life. Today, she serves as the Director of Ami.

In this story, Meiry reflects on the power of discipleship through the life of one student whose journey was forever changed.

Meiry Yakawa is a member of Missão SAIM, our Brazilian entity. She is from the Bakairi tribe in Brazil and has served as Director of Ami since 2016.
