Arias, Julián & Serina

Julián and Serina live in Medellín, Colombia. Julián, a native of Medellín, spent two decades of his life as a professional pianist before feeling called to leave behind his successful career and serve full-time in ministry. On the other hand, Serina, originally from the United States, served as a single missionary in Colombia and Bolivia.

In October 2020, Julián and Serina married. Together, they serve with SAM to multiply healthy churches and church networks in Medellin and throughout Latin America. They seek to train, care for, and raise up godly leaders that can lead biblical churches both locally and abroad. They also serve churches through preaching and teaching, conferences, music ministry, and discipleship classes.

Locally, they are involved in church planting, church networking through City to City, and church revitalization through Ser Bíblico (Being Biblical). They also actively serve in their local church and Julián’s seminary. On a larger scale, Julián facilitates two weekly pastor groups called Valor Agregado (Added Value) with pastors from Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, Bolivia, and Mexico.

As they pour themselves into their work, Julián and Serina are humbled by the opportunity to help expand God’s kingdom. They rejoice in seeing Him work in the lives of His people.
