Ashworth, Larry

Larry has a heart for sharing God’s Word and helping others come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He has a deep love for the Latino people and culture which began as a high school exchange student to Colombia.

After earning a BS degree from Western Carolina University, Larry had a career in supply chain management while actively serving in his local church. Over the years, he served as Finance Committee Chair, Treasurer, Adult Bible Fellowship Teacher, and Deacon. He later completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Ministries from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, equipping him for deeper service.

In January 2026, Larry joined SAM as Accounting Bookkeeper, combining his professional expertise with his calling to expand God’s Kingdom among Latino communities.

Married for 31 years, Larry and his wife Kristi live in Fort Mill, South Carolina, with their tuxedo cat, Domino. They have two married adult children and enjoy family time and serving together.
