Julie is the Operations Manager at South America Mission’s home office in Fort Mill, SC. She helps ensure the office runs smoothly and that the staff are well supported and cared for. Her background in social work, life coaching, and donor relations equips her with strong skills in hospitality, organization, and mission-minded service—all expressed through her joyful spirit and deep love for Jesus.
Julie holds a master’s degree in social work and spent over 12 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She specialized in serving individuals with chronic mental health conditions, addiction, trauma, and complex medical needs. She also worked as a Certified Life Coach, creating a safe space for people to grow in self-awareness and personal development. Before joining SAM, Julie served at MedSend as the Donor Relations Gift Coordinator and supported The Longevity Project, which addressed the unique needs of healthcare missionaries.
Julie began working at the SAM home office in August 2024. She now uses her relational strengths and donor experience to support the mission’s work across Latin America. She lives in Fort Mill with her husband, Matt, and their fur-baby, Briar.
