Cumbre 2025 – Supporting Venezuelan Pastors

Church Planting, Leadership Formation and Pastoral Care for hispanic pastors is the heart of what Transforming Ministries does. Led by pastor Ricardo Dias, this initiative is one of the ministries supported by South America Mission because it deeply aligns with our values and mission. Like us, Ricardo longs to see beautiful churches and transformed communities across South America.

Earlier this year, Ricardo spent some time in Venezuela investing in the lives of local pastors. He encountered leaders who are passionate, excited and fully devoted to their ministry, yet he also saw their suffering and that they were weary. Moved by what he saw, he decided to walk alongside their lives and ministry in a deeper way.

One key opportunity is Cumbre 2025, the first summit meeting for South American pastors hosted by Transforming Ministries. This gathering in Bogotá, Colombia will gather over 100 pastors, leaders and friends from Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, the U.S. and Spain as they share in life as brothers and sisters, laughing together, praying for one another, and remembering one simple truth—healthy pastors lead healthy churches.

Transforming ministries has pledged to cover all of the expenses for hosting the pastors from Venezuela, and SAM is honored to partner with them in this effort. We would like to invite your church to join in this effort too.

Will your church consider helping bring these faithful church leaders to Cumbre?
SAM has committed to raising funds to cover the costs for the 30 Venezuelan pastors that have been invited to participate in and be encouraged by the community of Cumbre.
The total estimated cost for these pastors to travel to and participate in Cumbre is $13,500.
