The Wayuu are in the process of applying for new legal status as a non-profit organization which includes a name change from FUNDIEGUA to INDIEWACOL (Indigenous Evangelical Wayuu Church of Colombia). Documents have been presented to Bogota—pray they be accepted without too much red tape.
