We praise God for the hundreds of Indigenous pastors, leaders, and believers who gathered for the CONPLEI National Congress in Brazil this past week. This historic gathering was a powerful display of God’s promise that people from every tribe, tongue, and nation will worship Him.

Adam Polk, lead pastor at Redeeming Grace Baptist Church and a member of SAM’s Board of Directors, attended the Congress and shared his reflections: “God is indeed saving people from all tribes, tongues, nations, and languages, just as He promised. While we are quick to affirm this biblically, it hits differently to see the fruits of it in person. God is doing a great work among the Indigenous of South America and it’s only a small taste of all God is doing throughout the world.”

Please pray:

For the Indigenous leaders who returned home after the Congress, that they would be strengthened to lead faithfully in their churches and communities.
For the many youth and young leaders present, that God would call and equip them for future ministry.
For unity and ongoing collaboration among Indigenous churches across Brazil and Latin America.
For SAM missionaries and partners walking alongside CONPLEI to have wisdom, endurance, and joy in their service.
