Colombia Church Planting

Colombia Church Planting supports the growth of new communities of faith across Colombia. With ongoing efforts by La Esperanza Church, new congregations are starting in and around Santa Marta. There is a burgeoning church plant in Riohacha. The multiplication of church communities continues among the Wayuu in La Guajira desert. House church movements are growing in Bogota and Villavicencio. Through the Colombia Church Planting Fund, we invest in what God is doing.

As believers live authentically and share the grace of Jesus, the local church becomes a place of hope and transformation. People gather to learn about Jesus, live out His love, and invite others to follow Him. South America Mission walks alongside local leaders as they plant and nurture these new communities.

We believe the church is more than a building. It is where people find belonging, healing, and purpose. It’s where leaders are raised up, families are strengthened, and communities begin to flourish. When new churches take root, they bring lasting change, not just spiritually, but in how people care for one another, support each other, and live with integrity and joy.
