Crisis Response Fund

SAM’s Crisis Response Fund enables the resourcing of our international team to effectively and safely respond to urgent developments that could disrupt ministry or impose unhealthy risks. The Latin American contexts where we serve can become unstable, often after elections or in the wake of natural disasters that stress already fragile healthcare systems and informal economies.

The safety and well-being of our team is important in times of crisis, but equally important is equipping our team to be resilient and steadfast as ministers of the gospel. The Crisis Response Fund enables our hopeful presence as agents of peace when things become chaotic or unstable in the places where we serve.

After the devastating two 7+ magnitude earthquakes in Venezuela in June and a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia in August, we are seeking to resource local churches to provide emergency relief, care for displaced families, and serve as the hands and feet of Jesus.
