David and Stephanie are Wycliffe Missionaries on loan to SAM in Pucallpa. Both have a great deal of intercultural experience. In fact, David grew up as a missionary kid in Colombia and Papua New Guinea, and Stephanie in a multiethnic family. As teenagers, they surrendered to Christ’s reign. They enjoy the outdoors, music, and sharing the gospel with others. They have two daughters.
The Boogaards work with the SAMAIR Peru team. Specifically, they partner with the local church and national missionaries through aviation to actively spread the Word of God throughout the eastern jungles of Peru. They have a passion to support spreading the gospel through mission aviation.
