Schilinski, Joshua & Natalie

Joshua and Natalie grew up as missionary kids (MKs) in Cameroon and Peru, respectively, and were called into ministry as they saw how God was using missions to spread the Gospel. Joshua has always loved airplanes and, after a high school internship at his local mission aviation hangar, decided to pursue serving through mission aviation. Likewise, Natalie was burdened for her fellow MKs while attending SAM Academy. They met at Liberty University, where Joshua graduated with a bachelor’s in Maintenance Management, and Natalie graduated with bachelor’s degrees in English and Journalism. They married after graduation in 2023.

As newlyweds, the Schilinskis moved to Minnesota to serve as missionaries with Proclaim Aviation Ministries. Joshua’s work at Proclaim allowed him to get the necessary years of stateside maintenance experience while fixing aircraft used for local mission aviation. During this time, Natalie received her master’s in counseling with a focus on crisis response and trauma for the purpose of supporting MKs and their families. Now that they have been equipped through Proclaim, they are starting their journey with SAM.

The Schilinskis are excited to do their part in seeing redeemed lives, beautiful churches, and transformed communities in South America. Joshua will work as a maintenance specialist with SAMAIR Peru, and Natalie will serve as a teacher at SAM Academy.
