Growing Family in Colombia

For this month of “First of All, Give Thanks,” we asked our SAM community to share what they’re grateful for. In a video on our Instagram and Facebook, Jorge Enciso reflects on how, through his connection with SAM, his spiritual “family” has grown to include the Wayuu community in La Guajira on the north coast of Colombia. These relationships have been a tremendous blessing to him and to the communities he serves.

Jorge and Ginny Enciso serve in Bogotá with Ciudad Corazón, a house-church network, and Viva Youth, which supports at-risk youth. Over the past year, they’ve taken groups from Bogotá to fellowship and serve alongside the Wayuu church.

Give thanks with us for these growing relationships, for the Wayuu community, and for the beautiful ways God is knitting His people together across Colombia.
