Young, Caleb

After growing up in the suburbs of Phoenix, Caleb now calls Ashland, OH home, where he enjoys being surrounded by family, friends, and his church community.

Raised in a family of believers, Caleb absorbed the gospel through both words and actions. At a young age, he embraced Jesus as his Redeeming Savior, igniting a lifelong passion to witness hearts drawn to Him.

With a firm belief in the global mission of the Church, Caleb responded to Jesus’ command to “Go and make disciples of all nations.” Despite lacking prior mission trip experience, he felt compelled to take the Good News of Jesus to another region of the world.

This summer, Caleb plans to begin an internship at the Ammi Training Center in Chapada Dos Guimaraes, Brazil. This ministry desires to see dynamic churches and disciples of Jesus Christ in every tribe in Brazil. It pursues that vision by providing Bible and leadership training to Indigenous persons. Caleb will serve in a variety of ways. He will build relationships with the students plus teach English to Brazilian and Indigenous missionaries. Also, he will help with the general maintenance of the Ammi facilities. Caleb eagerly awaits the opportunity to encourage and disciple students to walk faithfully with the Lord.
